If you are a business owner, why would you need some outside support from a sales coach or accountability partner?
As one of my clients said – ‘I’m a salesperson myself but it really got me thinking about what I was missing, and what I could do to change that. There were many lightbulb moments and it’s only when you step out of the day to day stuff and speak to an expert outside of the business that they become really clear and actionable’.
Let’s be honest there are a lot of things to think about running a business…
We can be wearing all the different hats – sales, operations, marketing and social media to name but a few, some fit well others not so much. Not everyone has the luxury of a large team to support them, and the person we are accountable to is often ourselves – which can be a challenge in itself.
The good news ‘a sale is so much more than the final transaction’ the bad news is there are many places along the way that we can be losing or missing sales, whether that be, our customer journey, follow up, poor after service, missed opportunities, lack of processes or perhaps a fear of failure.
The reality is it’s not always easy to take a look at your business when you’re in it and be objective. It can take an outside independent view to see things in a different way.
